On March 6, 2016 Ukrainian Consul in Dubai O. Balanutsa was accepted by HH Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Federal Minister of Finance and Industries.  

During the meeting with Emirates official important issues were discussed with regards to bilateral cooperation in different fields. Thus, Consul-General informed about valid activation of Ukrainian presence on UAE market for the past years, in particularly participation of Ukrainian delegates and manufacturers in international exhibitions in the spheres of health care, agriculture, infrastructure development and avia construction.

As a response Emirates official noted that Ukraine has all possible potentials to become one of the biggest exporters of agricultural products in UAE. In this context it is important to continue working under possibilities of enlarging import to UAE and support defense of investments for both countries. 

During conversation major attention was paid to the question of liberalization of visa regime between the countries in particular acceleration of Agreement between Ukraine and UAE with regards to visa cancellation for diplomatic, official and special passport holders.
