On February 24, 2020, the Consul of Ukraine in Dubai Oleksandr Khomiak met with the Head of the Consular Service of the Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs & International Cooperation in Dubai Eng. Rashid Al Qaseer.

During the meeting, issues related to the protection of the rights and interests of  Ukrainian citizens on the territory of the emirates of Dubai, Sharjah, Fujairah, Ras al-Khaimah, Ajman and Umm al-Quwain were discussed. In addition, attention was paid to the development of direct contacts and interaction between the Consulate of Ukraine and the law enforcement authorities of Dubai and Northern Emirates of the UAE.

The parties agreed to maintain regular contacts in the future.
