On October 31, 2019, the Consul of Ukraine in Dubai, Oleksandr Khomiak, met with a member of the Ruling  Family of Dubai, Chairman and CEO of Emirates Group, His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum.

During the meeting there was an exchange of views on the current state and prospects of further development of cooperation between Ukraine and the UAE in the tourism and aviation fields. It was mentioned that factors contributing to this are the presence of visa-free travel between Ukraine and the UAE and the increase in the number of direct flights between countries.
